About

2 Timothy 4:1-5 (NASB)

“I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths. But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”

Precept Upon Precept

We live in a world that works hard to define God on its own terms. So many struggle with the realities of life, looking for answers in every conceivable form of spiritualism or materialism men can devise. Some turn to the Bible but wind up embracing half-truths and myths, even while questioning the Bible’s authority as God’s inerrant Word.

We place the highest value on the Word of God and its vital role in our daily lives. You’ll hear this value expressed in our worship music, and you’ll hear it in our sermons. We practice a straightforward approach to preaching the Word, building line upon line, precept upon precept – not skimming over the hard parts or ignoring the difficult issues Scripture raises – all of it taken in context with an emphasis on how the Bible fits together to reveal God’s plan to redeem mankind through His Son, Jesus Christ. We want to encounter and enjoy all of the rich, beautiful glory of the Scriptures, allowing the absolute truth of God’s Word to challenge us and change our hearts so that God will pour through us into the community around us.

Who We Are

We’re an eclectic group with two extraordinary things in common: A reverence for our Father in heaven and a passion for sharing the undiluted gospel through the study of the Scriptures on Sunday morning by applying God's truth to our lives on Monday through Saturday.

Before the Sunday service, 9:30 is Sunday School for all ages and every level of Christian living. All of the material used in our classes is biblically based. The current class 'The Bait of Satan' is a book and video series by John Bevere.

Our Sunday service 10:45 a.m. feature modern, reverent, Christ-centered worship and a Word-driven message that speaks directly into our lives here in the 21st century. You’ll see that some of us dress up, and some come as they are; we’re not picky about our dress code.

Nursery care is available during our service for children infant to 5 years old.

Get Connected

Meeting during the week are CONNECT home groups, men’s and women’s Bible studies.

We’re not the only good church in the area, but we believe strongly that we occupy a spot of solid expository teaching with a strong emphasis on relationships and community.
